This is a N-Type RF Power Meter version V7 with a measurement to 10GHz.
Description:
RF-Power-Meter-V7.0 series is a high-performance low-cost portable TYPE-C simple RF power meter with simple instruction, small size, stable performance, high accuracy, preset offset, wide dynamic range and fast measurement speed. 5V power supply and high-speed data communication are provided through TYPE-C. The software matched with this power meter enables users to configure the power meter on the PC and makes it easy to record and share data.
Advantages:
Support a variety of high-speed dynamic acquisition, with a maximum of 500kbps (2uS) upper computer acquisition.
- Up to 10GHz RF signal acquisition function is supported.
- Built-in digital programmable attenuator (0-31.75DB), the maximum input power measured with digital attenuator is 30dBm (1W), and the dynamic range is +30dBm to - 60dBm.
- The power meter V7.0 comes with 1.3-inch TFT LCD and built-in Li battery, which can be operated offline.
- The 4-port aviation plug is used to provide TTL serial port reading and writing function, and provide single and continuous data reading mode.
- The upper computer has two MARK cursor functions to measure the modulation pulse width; Automatic calculation of maximum and minimum values; The maximum storage depth is 500 points; Support pause, data saving and export functions.

TFT display information description:
- Freq: Frequency setting. This data is input by pressing the key to calibrate the detection error at different frequencies, not the value measured by the power meter.
- Power: Measured power value in W
dBm means miliwatt; 0dBm=1mw
dBW means watt; 0dBW=10lg, 1W=10lg, 1000mw=30dBm
- ATT: Numerical control attenuator value inside the power meter. Attenuation range: 0 to 31.75DB. This value needs to be set when measuring signals greater than 0dBm, so as to improve the measurement accuracy.
- Offset: Linear offset setting value
The first function is to set the offset through offset when ATT is added
The second function is to calibrate the interface error
The third function: if an amplifier or standard signal source is added externally, the relative error can be set by this value.
Offline Mode(TFT LCD and TTL serial communication are used for data display and transmission without using the high speed mode of the upper computer):
- The baud rate of the serial port assistant is set to 115200 (pay attention to the backspace when sending commands with the serial port assistant)
- IC001+: command R (query power); T (stop power transmission); X (query setting value); L (low speed transmission power data); S (high speed transmission power data)
Example: IC001+S: sending data in 10ms
- IC+SAVE+001+002: Change the IC address as the order of old address and the new address.
- IC001+W ± 02.2+01.25+1000: data modification is respectively (positive and negative sign can be selected) OFFSET value+ATT value+FREQ value
If the ATT value is not entered in 0.25 steps, the lower computer will only take the value before the decimal. For example, if you enter 03.89, the lower computer will only store the ATT value of 03.00.
For example, if the baud rate is 115200, there must be a "backspace" at the end of all.
IC000+R:
- Note: The default IC address of the machine is 000, and the end symbol is "Enter". Read the power value, and the returned data is:
- Level: 60.8dBm
- Power: 000.00uW
IC000+X:
- ATT (fixed attenuator value): 00.00 dB
- FREQ (frequency value): 800 MHz
- OFFSET: - 0.0
IC000+L / IC000+S / IC000+T:
- IC000+L: direct upload of low-speed data (upload one data at 0.5S)
- IC000+S: High-speed data direct upload (1mS upload one data)
- IC000+T: Low speed or high speed data upload needs to be stopped by this command and return to USART_ Stop:0
IC000+W-10.0+20.25+0800:
- Write the OFFSET value+ATT value+FREQ value of IC000. The OFFSET offset value is -10.0DB, the ATT attenuation value of the internal digital attenuator is 20.25, and the frequency is 800MHz
