ABB Robotics
ABB is the world's leading manufacturer of industrial robots with over 100,000 robots installed world-wide. ABB-robots are used throughout the world for spot welding, arc welding, machine tending, material handling, deburring, picking, packing, palletizing, and assembly. Sofisticated software products make our robots perform better and increase the productivity for our customers.
Applied Robotics
Applied Robotics is a leading global provider of specialized end-of-arm tooling and connectivity solutions designed to meet unique application and market needs – bringing new levels of flexibility and efficiency to bear on the industrial material handling process.
Arrick Robotics
The first product offered was the MD-2 motor control system which was a subsystem of a robot arm that was being developed. The MD-2 became popular with users of telescopes for computer controlled positioning then expanded into factory automation and research projects via the Personal Computing Tools catalog. Over the years positioning tables were added to broaden the product line.
Fanuc Robotics
FANUC Robotics America, Inc. is the leading supplier of robotic automation in North and South America. We offer over 175 robot model variations to meet the needs of a wide range of applications. We also produce software, controls and vision products that aid in the development of state-of-the-art robotic systems. Our solutions and support services help manufacturers realize significant improvements in throughput, quality, productivity, and provide a quick return on investment. Headquartered in Rochester Hills, Mich., FANUC Robotics has ten regional locations in the U.S., Canada, Mexico and Brazil.
Humanoid Robotics Group
MIT Artificial Intelligence Laboratory group led by Rodney Brooks. Working on robots Cog, Kismet, Coco & Macaco.
JPL Robotics
Welcome to the JPL Robotics website! Here you'll find detailed descriptions of the activities of the Mobility and Robotic Systems Section, as well as related robotics efforts around the Jet Propulsion Laboratory. We are approximately 100 engineers working on all aspects of robotics for space exploration and related terrestrial applications. We write autonomy software that drives rovers on Mars, and operations software to monitor and control them from Earth. We do the same for their instrument-placement and sampling arms, and are developing new systems with many limbs for walking and climbing. To achieve mobility off the surface, we are creating prototypes of airships to fly through the atmospheres of Titan and Venus, and drills and probes to go underground on Mars and Europa.
Kawasaki Robotics USA Inc
Manufacturer of robots and robot controllers. Features assembly, painting, arc welding, dispensing, cutting, and material handling robots.
KC Robotics
New Robots, Used Robots, Industrial Robots, Automation, Fanuc Robot Parts. KC Robotics specializes in new robots and used robots for system automation integration for Fanuc robots, Motoman Robots, and Cincinnati Milacron.
Kuka Robotics
Supplier of industrial robots, factory automation systems and robot integrators network for automated manufacturing and assembly cells. This site provides a free robotics case studies data base. The company’s 5 and 6 axis robots range from 3kg to 570kg payloads, and 635mm to 3700mm reach, all controlled from a common PC based controller platform. Here are some of KUKA´s customers: Ford, Chrysler, Porsche, BMW, Volkswagen, Harley Davidson, Procter & Gamble and Wal Mart.
Robotics Online
Robotics Online is sponsored by Robotic Industries Association, and provides information to help engineers, managers and executives apply and justify robotics and flexible automation. The site includes a Buyer's Guide with a search engine function, plus feature articles, daily news updates, case studies, technical papers, event calendar, job openings, an "Ask the Experts" forum, and much more.
Seattle Robotics Society
Founded in 1982, the SRS is one of the oldest and largest robotics groups in the world. Membership is open to everyone. The group holds monthly meetings.
SPAWAR Systems Center
The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center, San Diego (SSC San Diego) and its predecessor organizations (NRaD, NOSC, NUC, etc.) have been involved in various aspects of robotics since the early 1960's. Robotics research and development at SSC San Diego are currently performed by two groups: Advanced Systems Division and Ocean Systems Division.
USC Robotics Research Lab
Part of the University of Southern California Center for Robotics and Embedded Systems. Research includes multi-robot interaction, coordination.
Used Robots
Used-Robots.com offers robots and parts from many robot manufacturers including: Motoman, Panasonic, ABB, Fanuc and others. What separates Used-Robots.com from others is that we sell complete turnkey customized systems with warranty. There are some companies that will sell to you a used robot but it is usually as-is with no integration. At Used-Robots.com we provide the same expertise and service as a large robotic integrator of new robots, only we utilized reconditioned robots which reduce the cost the system for about half the price of a new one.
