Lexmark Printer Failure to Print

I have a Lexmark Printer purchased with a computer thru shop NBC. The computer is still under warranty until October 21. The printer is not functioning I have tried to add the print again. The print will go to the printer but won't print. The lite is flashing I have replaced the cables,plugs,shut done the computer etc.The slide bar goes to the side but will not stop in the center ,Have called the computer company and have been instructed to contact Lexmark for further assist.
