Thanks for the help with my TCP/IP and Winsock problem on WinXP. The repair utility worked great. Now I have a problem loosing my internet connection and my email connection, after about 3 or 4 hours. Only thing that solves this is to restart my computer. Checked cable, modem, Etc., (OK). Connected a laptop running win98 and it never lost connections. I run "ipconfig /renew" and got the following message: An error occurred while renewing Interface Local Area Connection: Unable to contact your DHCP server. Request timed out.
