Try this, click on the "icon" in the lower left corner of screen. In the window that opens up click on "Settings", next click on "System", then click on "Default Apps":
Here you can choose the default app for a number of programs.
select "Music Player"
choose "Windows Media Player"
select "Video Player"
choose "Windows Media Player"
Now Windows Media Player will be your default player for music and videos.
click on "Save" |
