To import a Camtasia media asset file of .zip type do the following:

First extract the files from your zip file.
Now open Camtasia.
Goto Main Menu.
Click on File.
Click on Library.
Click on Import Media to Library.
A window opens, here you need to go to the location of the file or files you extracted and want to import.
Click on the file.
Highlight the file in the next window.
Now Click Open.
The file should be imported.

In the library, if you want your file to be in a particular category folder,
Click on your file and drag it to the right folder.

If the category folder you want is not there, you need to create it.
Goto Main Menu.
Click on File.
Click on Library.
Click on New Folder, follow instructions and name new folder.
Go back to Library and drag your file to your new Category Folder.

I hope this helps.
