Those tool bars can come from; Suspect websites, spyware, freeware, shareware and some commercial applications. If you are not careful when your installing some applications, you will miss the option to not install an unwanted tool bar. One example of this, is installing a Java Update, if your not careful and miss unchecking a box you will install a Yahoo toolbar.
