By default, WinMe erects "soft barriers", a process that hides files stored in system folders from view by the user. Instead of seeing a list of files in these cases, you will see a message indicating that the files are important and should not require modification. If you come across a folder in Windows Explorer that has a soft barrier, there will be an option on the screen, "View The Entire Contents of This Folder". Click it and the contents of the folder will be displayed. |
