You can enable an application to run within a compatibility mode that helps mimic older versions of Windows using the built-in compatibility technology.
To run an application in Compatibility Mode:

1. Right click the file/application
2. Click on Properties
3. Click on Compatibility Tab
4. Under Compatibility Mode, check run this program in compatibility mode for: Then select previous Windows version and click OK.

Now your application will run under the previous version of Windows you selected.
