How much space can this save me on my Desktop and where do I find it?

The Desktop Cleanup Wizard periodically checks your desktop and gives you the opportunity to move your unused short cuts. This is done every 60 days. the amount of space you save depends on how many unused short cuts and other desktop items you have.

If you want to manually manage this yourself you can disable this function by:

1. Right-click in a blank spot on the desktop
2. Choose Properties from the pop-up menu
3. Click on the Desktop tab,
4. Click the Customize Desktop button
5. Uncheck the Run Desktop Wizard Every 60 Days
6. Click OK twice to exit
