The Desktop Icons keep being moved, can I stop this so they stay where I put them?

Yes, you can prevent them from being moved from where you want them to be located. You can do this by turning off the Auto Arrange feature:

1. Right Click an empty spot on the Desktop
2. From the pop-up menu, choose Arrange Icons By
3. If there is a checkmark beside Auto Arrange, select it to remove the checkmark.

You'll now be able to organize your icons without interference from Windows.
