My NIC Card isn't working with my Windows Vista Operating System. What should I check, change or update?

As with any new Operating System (OS), some older devices won't work properly (or at all) with Vista. If your device doesn't work, check the Vista Hardware Compatibility List (winqual.microsoft.com/hcl) to see if the device you are trying to use is indeed compatible with Vista. If it is, try downloading the latest drives for the device or reinstalling it. If it isn't compatible, you will most likely need to purchase a compatible device.
