My entire system became sluggish immediately after installing Vista, I need some help. |

If Vista seems slow after first installing it, note that its indexing service likely will run nonstop until it gathers information about the data on your hard drives. Until it finishes, you might be forced to deal with decreased performance, so leave the PC running overnight and see if you're still having problems in the morning. Alternatively, if you're using the Aero GUI, try disabling it, even if your system meets the minimum requirements to run it. To disable it, Right Click your Desktop, Click Windows Color and Apperance, Click Open Classic Apperance properties, choose a different color scheme and Click OK. |
