I have tried a FA311 and now I'm trying a Linksys and still get error.

This problem seems to affect a large number of computers running Windows XP with or without SPK1. Installing SPK2 doesn't seem to help with this problem. Installing Adapters -- Video, Network, Sound, Etc., or Drivers or Driver Updates can cause this problem. The TCP/IP and /or Winsock Registry entries become modified -- corrupted. We use a repair utility to correct this problem and it has worked every time. Use link below to download. If you have SPK2 installed it has a utility of its own to repair the TCP/IP and Winsock, use it and not the download. http://www.cercurtiss.com/techsup/_download/WinsockFixForXP.zip
