First; you probably have Firefox setup to update automatically. They just updated to version 64 and with this update they dropped the RSS Reader and Subscribe from Firefox, saying there are third party apps you can use. Third party apps have a problem running on this version, giving you only raw xml. Until the third party apps run correctly on this version and newer, you have one option roll back Firefox version to version 63. Goto Menu - Options - Firefox Update and turn off automatic update, then uncheck "use a background service to install updates". You will find Firefox Version 63 at this url. https://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/firefox/releases/ Choose: DIR 63.0/ if your system is 64bit Choose: DIR Win64/ if your system is 32bit Choose: DIR Win32/ Choose: DIR en-US/ Then download your Firefox setup file for version 63. Run and install version 63. Make sure you turn off automatic updates as described above. |
